GDPR and Freedom of Information
The Heart of Mercia Multi-Academy Trust, together with all Academies within the Trust, collects, uses, and stores Personal Data relating to our staff, students, pupils, parents, governors, directors, suppliers, and visitors.
We are fully committed to complying with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and all applicable Data Protection Laws. The Trust recognises the importance of maintaining clear and robust controls for the collection, use, retention, and secure disposal of Personal Data. Our Data Protection policies can be viewed on our Trust Policies page. Privacy Notices for individual Academies are available on the relevant Academy websites.
The Heart of Mercia Multi-Academy Trust is committed to ensuring that personal information is processed lawfully, fairly, and transparently, and that individuals’ privacy rights are upheld at all times. If you wish to exercise any of your Data Protection rights, including submitting a Subject Access Request or making a Data Protection complaint, please use our Statutory Request Form.
In addition to our Data Protection obligations, the Trust is also committed to meeting its responsibilities under the Freedom of Information Act 2000. Members of the public have the right to request certain recorded information held by the Trust. Freedom of Information requests should also be submitted via our Statutory Request Form.
